The Green Bay Packers are going 16-0.
The Indianapolis Colts are finishing 0-16.
It's happening. Get ready for it. This is truly going to be an historic season.
The Packers are solidly atop the CBSSports.com Power Rankings and the Colts have no competitors for bottom spot.
Call it a tale of two quarterbacks. Peyton Manning isn't playing, and the Colts are a disaster.
Aaron Rodgers is having arguably the greatest quarterback season ever, and the Packers haven't lost a game.
Green Bay needed a late drive Sunday to beat the Giants, a thing of beauty by Rodgers, but the remaining schedule isn't tough. They have Oakland this week, followed by games at Kansas City, home against Chicago and home against Detroit.
They are not losing.
The Colts play at Baltimore, home against Tennessee and Houston and then on the road at Jacksonville. Their best chance for a victory is their last game at Jacksonville. Can you argue against 16-0 and 0-16 after seeing those schedules? I didn't think so.
The only glitch will be if Packers coach Mike McCarthy calls off the dogs and decides to rest his players in the end and the Bears and Lions are scrapping to get into the playoffs.
Other than that, I think we will see history made. But you would probably have a hard time convincing the Colts that there would be anything historic about going 0-16.
